The 9th Annual Family Cafe Conference featuring The 9th Annual Governor's Summit on Disabilities June 8 - 10, 2007 The Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando, Florida
Provides a forum for individuals with all types of disabilities and their families from all regions of Florida to gather information about available services and how to best access them. It offers families with access to policy-making officials, opportunities to find support by networking with other families, and exposure to a range of public and private resources.
A block of rooms has been reserved at a special conference rate of $109 per night.
If you are a person with a disability, or a family member of one, there is no registration fee for the conference. However, Professionals must pay a $100 registration fee.
The Family Cafe offers families a Financial Assistance Program, which can provide for complimentary accommodation at the Rosen Shingle Creek as well as mileage reimbursement. To apply for assistance, simply note your request on your application form.
