Joy Williams

It is all part of God's master plan that Joy should retire from serving 20 years as a secretary at Highlands Baptist Church at the same time that we were in desperate need of a secretary.

Joy is a native of Ocala who was a stay-at-home mom turned substitute then music and art teacher (the latter position lasting some ten years) prior to his secretary position.  Joy is constantly on the go and very much involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and community, so it was no surprise that her search to help one of her daughters find resources for her grandson who lives with autism, led her to us.  

Joy is no stranger to organization and project leadership, and as our new secretary she will bless us with both.

Joy has been married for 35 years to Ken Williams, and has two beautiful daughters (one of whom lives in California).  The daughter who lives here in Ocala, has made her the proud grandmother of two.  Joy is fondly known to us as "Ashby's grandma", and we couldn't be more excited that he is sharing her with us.
