Provides
adaptive aids and Computer Assisted Instruction as well as counseling
and guidance. There are leisure and recreational activities
(backpacking). A full time Medicaid nurse is available to
provide medical services on site. Speech Therapy and Language
Therapy are also a service. Vocational Assessment (FL View)
and Vocational Training in areas such as wood shop, construction,
ceramics and budgeting are part of the program.
To
be eligible for this camp, the child must be referred by the school
system and must not be involved with the Law or DCF.
A
Drop Out Prevention Program is an additional service available to
those referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF)
and the Department of Juvenile Justice.
Fees:
As a private day camp the fee is $125 per day.
Insurance is also accepted.
Level 6 category.
